Mirian Wright
Administrative Support Assistant

Mirian has worked for the Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries for six years. She has worked at the University for 17 years in the departments of Marketing and Communications and the State 4-H Office.

Mirian lives in North Knoxville with her husband Tony, and they have six children and eleven grandchildren. They are advocates and have cared for the mentally handicapped for 22 years.

Activities and hobbies include collecting recipes and cooking for her family and friends. She enjoys camping, hiking and swimming, and visiting her children in Oregon and North Carolina. One of her favorite hobbies is to find the old classic movies especially mystery movies. She is an avid Sherlockian. She also likes to take her grandchildren on special outings to places they have never been before. She likes to take pictures of everything and would like to learn more about photography.
