The University of Tennessee (UTK) and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) want to know if you or anyone you know has seen this fish or caught one while fishing. If you catch a lake sturgeon, you must release it unharmed, and then contact the TWRA at the Region 4 office to let them know that you have spotted a lake sturgeon. The number to call is 1-800-587-7037 and is a toll free call!

The TWRA depends on reported sightings and fishing capture information to help them evaluate the success of the current lake sturgeon stocking program.
