Wildlife Health / Pre-Vet Concentration

The Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Science is pleased to announce a new degree concentration in Wildlife Health. The curriculum provides training for biologists interested in careers in Wildlife Health and meets all entry requirements for Veterinary School. Wildlife Health is the science of wildlife disease issues and impacts on our natural resources. Wildlife Health professionals must also learn about the ecology and management of our wildlife heritage and understand how to maintain healthy populations of animals consistent with the needs of the public.
